Paper Pile effect
Update: A new technique to create paper piles is also posted which uses box-shadows to create the extra papers. By this technique, the extra papers are not limited to just 2, there can be any number of piles you want. Check it out here.
A CSS3 paper pile effect. The "extra papers" effect is achieved by styling the :before and :after pseudo elements of the main div.paperZ. Very Simple!
Works in all modern browsers, including IE8.
